In July 2015, Realogistics International Group Co., Ltd. (Realogistics Hong Kong) was commissioned by an important customer to provide comprehensive logistics support for its transit goods in Hong Kong.

I. Goods details: 4×40HC

II. Operation tasks:

1. Pickup at port: Importing cargo containers and exporting empty containers, making unified warehousing and preparing for transposition.

2. Arranging transposition: Strict attention is paid to the safety of the goods during transposition and lashing. Clear recording and filing of goods information is required in each container.

3. Preparing plan: Providing packing plans for the customer upon completion of transposition and information about box quantity/weight/dimension to the carrier and getting ready for shipment.

4. Export operation: Loading goods back to trailers.

III. Difficulties in operations

3 items out of the transit goods were bare transit. Large sizes and rainy season of Hong Kong increased difficulties in operations. Backed by its weathered experience, Realogistics Hong Kong arranged crane packing/loading in a timely manner and covered the goods with tarpaulins against rain.

Finally, Realogistics Hong Kong successfully accomplished the task, which was highly recognized by the customer.
