On the night of December 27, SBS, one of the three major TV stations of South Korea held the Music Factory, one the three awarding ceremonies (Awards Festival, Drama Awards and Music Factory). Since its birth in 1997, SBS Music Factory has assembled the most favorite idol groups and singers is an unrivalled music feast of South Korea. On November 25, 2015, Realogistics International (Beijing) Co., Ltd. (“Realogistics Beijing”) got an order from a media company to provide lighting effect logistics support for SBS Music Factory. 1. Customer’s requirements All props to be transported are ready on December 8, 2015, sea transport to South Korea is preferred and the delivery shall be closed before December 22, 2015. 2. Difficulties in operations Pops including the lights were in Guangzhou and Realogistics Beijing should make prior ATA carnet based on the performance equipment. Pick-up at the outlet, transfer and lashing, sea transport, declaration at the destination port and door-to-door delivery should be completed by Realogistics Beijing within the short 10 working days. It was a tight schedule and allowed no error. 3. Solution Considering the special requirements for ATA carnet declaration by Guangzhou and Shenzhen customs (declaration could not be made as performance props), Realogistics Beijing decided to first transfer the goods to Shanghai port where declaration was made to Shanghai customs. As lighting props are fragile, extreme care is required during transport. Realogistics Beijing covered insurance for the goods in advance and reinforced the goods in the whole process. Finally, all goods were delivered to SBS TV within specified duration, winning high recognition from the customer. 4. Real-time pictures
